Tuesday December 22, 2020 Travel Day to Louisiana

This morning we left Mississippi and drove towards Louisiana.  After about four hours of driving, we ended up in New Orleans at our KOA!  We are right by the Mississippi River again!!!

We like our KOA here.  There is plenty of room for our trailer and our truck.  Not to mention we are close to New Orleans and the Mississippi.

Here are  a few pics from the drive.

When we arrived at the KOA, we were all very tired so I declared it a chill day.  The kids went out to hang with their friends and I did laundry.  Scotty finished work and the kids might have watched too much of the Simpsons :)

Then when it got dark, we finally did our gingerbread train.  Taj has been dying to build it. The kids did a good job this year.  It didn't break:)))

These are a few pictures from last night from Scottys phone.  Enjoy!!

We went out to find the Christmas Star but it was way too far behind trees and hills.  So we found this one instead!!!

We are finally at our Christmas stop so now I can get serious about getting ready for it.  This year we are really scaling things down so I don't have too much to do to be ready.  It has been so nice to just focus on the spirit of Christmas and not all the other activities that keep us very busy during this time of the year.
