Hip Hip Hooray for a travel day away from Homestead!! hahaha. We drove 6 hours up to Clearwater FL which is west of Tampa. The drive was beautiful and we are loving Tampa Bay. It has the coolest bridges and is oh so beautiful. Why is water so gorgeous???
PS. I love my Scotty
This is one bridge that we crossed while we were driving over Tampa Bay. So cool!!!

Our Campground was another mobile home resort. It is called Clearwater Rv Resort. This one is really nice. It is well kept and feels clean and inviting. We backed into our spot and leveled the trailer. Then we realized that the electric cord didn't reach!! We had to re-attach the trailer to the truck and back it up into a hedge that lined our campsite so that the cord could reach. For some reason, our electric box was on the next guys site so it was super far away from us. We backed about a foot into the hedge :)) hahaha. We thought we were so funny.
We only had today to play in this area so we left for the beach as soon as we could. Clearwater has a beautiful beach with Pier 60 off of it that was so fun to go to . The sand, oh the sand. It was amazing!! It was like snow and I'm not kidding. The sand was soft and fluffy. When the kids made balls of sand and threw it at me, it felt like soft snow hitting me. And. . . it was full of sea shells!!!! Everywhere we looked there were sea shells.

We stopped at Frenchy's for dinner. Taj got the fish tacos. hahaha. No one else but Scotty got "fish" dinner. The food was OK but the experience was fun!!
At the campground, the kids went for a swim before bed. They used their snorkel goggles and swam for about an hour. We would like more time here but we have to leave tomorrow to head up to Georgia. When the kids complain about not being able to stay at spots for longer I think that the only way to stay longer is to extend our trip. As of now that isn't happening because Asher wants to be back at school for his senior year. If school is still weird like it is now, Asher said that he will just stay at Ivy Tech and we can travel again next year. We will see how everything transitions this next year.
Miracle
Before we went to bed, Scotty got a call from one of his co-workers. Apparently someone called his co-worker (Micheal Conrad) and said that he (Tony) is a snorkel instructor and was snorkeling off the Keys and found a phone. He saw Micheals number on it and called him to see if he knew who Scott was. SERIOUSLY!!!!!! Some dude found Scotty's phone!!!! Can you believe that???? We were in shock. That was a needle in the hay stack and still Tony found Scotty's phone. We are still shocked but see it as another blessing from our Heavenly Father. We don't know if the phone will function but it is still really cool to get it back!!!
Random Facts that I forgot to type about Everglades National Park and Alligators:
1-The Everglades is a river that starts up at lake Okeechobee and runs all the way down to the Gulf. It only moves about 1/4 miles a day. Very slow moving river.
2- Alligators are fresh water gators. Crocodiles live in the salt water. So you can know the difference in them by the water.

There is a great message in your post for today after the not-so-good experience of your previous campground. It looks like you had a lot of fun. What a blessing that Scotty's phone was found---and it seems to work!
