Saturday December 19, 2020 Travel Day to Vicksburg, Mississippi

This morning we left around 9:30 to make our way to Vicksburg, Mississippi.  Vicksburg is just west of Jackson.  I picked this spot so we could learn about the Siege of Vicksburg during the Civil War.  The maps show that it should have taken five hours and 42 minutes to get there.  With our lunch stop and other potty stops, we didn't pull into our campground until about 5:45 PM.  It was a long day of traveling but fortunately we arrived safe and sound!!  When we arrived, it was raining.  Scotty and I were outside in the rain trying to level Homie.  For some reason he didn't want to level himself today.  We had to level him manually.  It took so long.  By the time we were done, Scotty and I were both drenched.  Then guess what???  The rain stopped.  hahahahah.  We both laughed about that.

Scotty took this picture at our lunch stop. We had all ate Subway!!

Here are a few pictures that I took on our drive.  We had sunny weather, then we had rainy weather.

This is so funny!!!

After we got Homie all set up, Scotty and I ran real quick  to Walmart because we needed to pick up some fruit for tomorrow.  While I was in the car waiting for Scotty,  my crazy brothers called me and sang me Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.  I was dying.  They were so funny.
