We got up early today to hit the skatepark that is here in Marathon before we took off. The kids were super happy to scoot and I called it PE!!! We had the whole skatepark to ourselves so the kids didn't have to worry about Taj snaking other people :))). PS. Did any of you realize that we have been out on our trip for 6 months??? Holy Moly!! We just looked at a calendar and were in shock the it's already been 6 months. Crazy!!
Pepper collected these flowers and asked me to keep them until she gets married. Then she wants me to throw these on her at her wedding. hahahahahah. Isn't she the cutest!!!
After the skatepark, we packed up the trailer and left our beautiful campsite near the Gulf of Mexico.
We only drove an hour and a half north to a city named Homestead FL.
The campground in Homestead is actually a mobil home park. It's by far not our favorite but it will due for the short time that we are here. The campground gave us a site that we couldn't get into because our trailer was too long. We had to call them and have them switch our site to an easier one. Once we backed in and unpacked, we did school and watched movies all night.
The reason for this stop was to see Biscayne National Park. We already went into the Everglade National Park so Biscayne is the last National Park here in FL that we are planning on seeing. Hopefully we can get to that by Friday. The kids do have a lot of school work to get done this week.
