Last night before we went to bed, we unhooked all the water hoses from the trailer because the temps were going to drop. We don't ever want our water hoses to freeze and then burst. That would be bad. Our trailer is equipped for extremely cold weather so I don't worry about the trailer much. Just the hoses that are outside. We stayed at a comfortable 65 degrees inside the trailer, while it got down to 28 degrees outside. I accidentally left a little bit of water in our water hose outside and it froze. We had to put it in the sun this morning and turn the water on to get the ice out. Our California blood doesn't like cold temps very much :))). But we LOVE the wooded trails here!!
Since we are now traveling east, that means that we crossed a time zone!! We are now in the Central Time Zone. That means that we get an extra hour of sleep!!!
This morning's run was amazing!! Graham got up with me today. We found a seven mile loop that just thrilled us both. I felt like we were in our own Play Land!!! The run had hills, trails, old abandoned cars, waterfalls, bridges, deer and crisp cold air. We didn't think it could get any better. Then. . . . right in the middle of the trial I was running on, we found a pump track!!! Some guy made a huge pump track off of the trial for his Eagle Project. Now we were complete!!! hahahaha. Graham spent some time riding it and I just laughed at out fortune while I took pictures of him.

Graham and I couldn't keep this special find a secret. We decided that we needed to share it with the rest of the family. When the run was over, we packed up the other kids and headed over to the pump track. The kids were good sports about it being cold. Actually, I don't think they felt it at all. hahahah. Kids never seem to be cold. They all rode the track and then the LaBass spirit kicked in. Asher laid down on a jump and then Graham jumped over him with his bike. Then of course, Graham laid down and Asher jumped him. I know, they are so crazy. Graham's knee is feeling great incase any of you were worried. We stayed there for a long time. I was frozen because I wasn't moving much.
I got both boys in the air at the same time !!!
On our way back to Homie, we stopped to hit another trial. This trail took us back in the woods to see another great waterfall. Before I knew it, all four of my kids were climbing all over it. I'm glad no one else was there:)))
Asher threw his helmet in the water. For the record, I told him not to throw it. He claims that I told him to throw it. hahahah. He made me laugh so hard when he pretended that I said to throw it.

It got dark and cold fast today. After we disconnected the water again, we decided that it was Christmas Crafting time!!! We made reindeer and snow flakes. Taj made some awesome snow flakes. Graham made a huge one and Pepper's creative snow flakes blew my mind. Asher was too cool for crafts 😂.
We finished the night watching church Christmas videos. I love the intense focus on Christ this time of year. It brings so much peace into our lives. I see a major increase of love and patience when we focus on Christ. The only thing missing right now is our extended family. We sure miss all of our family.
