Friday December 11, 2020- World of Coca-Cola

Welcome to World of Coca-Cola
Santa knows what's up!!!!

One reason why we made this stop here in Atlanta was to go to the World of Coca-Cola.  Yes, we are Coke lovers.  The factory was cool but our favorite parts were the smell testing and the taste testing areas.

The smell testing area is a new area for the factory.  They have scents that you can smell and then you have to guess what it is.  I failed in all the flavors but the kids actually did pretty good.  The best smelling one was the citrus one.  Yummy!!!  The worst was the one that they use for Root Beer.  Ugh, that one was gross.

The taste testing area was all set up for our family to hoover around a soda fountain with all the flavors in it.  We got to test around 10 different flavors of Coke from around the world.  By far the Italian one was the worst. Disgusting.  It tasted like rotten medicine Hahahah.  We liked all the other ones. Everyone had a different favorite.  It was fun.  Then as we left, they taught me how to make any flavor Coke that I wanted.  It's easy.  You just add flavoring syrup of any flavor you want, to your coke!!!!  They showed us by adding ginger to Coke to make Ginger Coke.  It was OK, but what a cool idea.  We should have a family competition.  Who will make the best tasting Coke!!

PS. Graham is doing great.  He walked all day today even with my nagging to get a wheelchair.  He said that he wasn't in any pain so I let him walk.  His knee isn't swollen at all and his punctures look amazing.  Thank you to everyone who prayed for my Graham!!  He commented to me that everyone who prayed for him made it so that the part of his body that wasn't supposed to heal, heal!!  This experience has strengthen his faith in Christ.  My heart has just exploded with joy while watching his faith grow.

Italian Coke!!

The smell factory!!

We all got a free Coke!!!

We had a really fun day!!!  I was exhausted but guess what the kids wanted to do when we got home??? Yup, skate park.  We drove down to Macon to the Central City Skate Park.  Graham was good and only cruised, no tricks.  The kids had fun and I met some locals that were seriously so cool!!  I had fun adulting and the kids burnt the rest of their energy.  We have really enjoyed our time here in Georgia. There is a deep charm that comes with the state and the people here.  I love the Georgia charm.

  1. How fun is that! I gave up soda long ago, but there is so much that is iconic and recognizable in Coke advertisements, etc. --kind of like Hallmark. We never got to the factory when we were in Atlanta on business, but we did go to a tasting somewhere, maybe at a fair or something.
Way to go Graham!!!!! Keep following the rules though, so you don't have any setbacks. We truly know the power of prayer, and that you experienced a miracle.
