Monday September 21, 2020 Cuyahoga Valley National Park

Cuyahoga  Valley National Park was our 12th national park for this trip.  This park is huge.  It has so many parts to it that are all spread out.  We spent more time in the truck then we did exploring because it took us so long to get to each spot.  The spots we did get to were gorgeous.  The Bridal Veil Falls and the Ledge were our favorites.  I really liked the covered bridge as well.  Ohio is gorgeous.

When we got back to homie, Asher and Graham left to go hang with the youth from church.  Pepper and Taj got some fishing time in.  They mastered their casts.

Unfortunately, Butter didn't make it.  Pepper cried as if she had owned Butter for 10 years.  Pepper buried her and made a cute little grave stone for her.

  1. Ah, rest in peace Butter. Wow! More awesome scenery and new friends. I hope you can get to the Johnson farm or at least take a virtual tour. It was there that Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery received some amazing revelations and bore their testimonies of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ (D&C 76). For me, it was one of the most spiritual places when we visited church sites.

You may have heard that half of our ward was able to meet in person yesterday, albeit outside and wearing masks, but it was wonderful. Next Sunday we will have an all-ward testimony meeting via zoom.
