TRAVEL DAY : This morning I had to get up early and get one last run in along the lake. It was such a lovely morning. I ran hard and came home ready for a long drive. We drove 3 hours north-east towards Kirtland. Kirtland has so many stunning church history sites that we wanted to see. The drive through Ohio was absolutely picture perfect. The temperature dropped dramatically the more north we went. We have officially entered fall weather. The nights are very cold and the days maintain a crispy cold feeling. My kids had no idea why it was so cold. They have never felt fall weather. In California, August and September are the hottest months of the year. Not to mention the fires. They are learning all kinds of things on this trip.

Here is Scotty pulling away from our campground in Buckeye. Buckeye is a must return place. I would love to spend a lot more time here.

Welcome to our new campground for this stop. I absolutely love the KOA Holidays. They are so fun. They are very kid friendly and have a lot of activities for families.

Pepper found a butterfly that was injured. She did a little research on butterflies and learned that they like sugar water. She made a safe home to help Butter (the name she gave the butterfly) get well.

Here is our campground. There are TP's, sandboxes, jump pads, checkers and so much more. After the trailer was all unpacked the kids went out to play. Well, Taj went out to play. The other kids were being lame and stayed in the trailer.

Taj and I were beanie buddies. Travel days are hard because we are all so exhausted. After a quick trip to Walmart and an unsuccessful visit to Lake Erie, we all went to bed. Good night.
