Monday August 10, 2020. Goodbye Hanna IN- Hello Crawfordsville IN

  Waking up today to drive to our new spot was tough.  The whole family was super tired.  Scotty and I woke up 30 minutes after our alarms went off.  The kids were not responding to our wake up calls.   They were all in a deep sleep.  We decided that they needed their beauty sleep and let them stay sleeping.  Scotty and I worked fast to pack up the trailer and we pulled out of our campground by 8 AM.  We drove around 130 miles to our next destination.                                                                                       On the drive I saw this guy.  I was so tickled.                                                                                                                                                                                  The route took us right past Purdue.  We really wanted to stop but there was no place to park our trailer.  On the drive we saw miles and miles of corn fields.  Indiana is FULL of corn fields.  In between the corn fields there are homes.  Farm homes. They are so dang cute.  Usually there will be a house on the property with silos and a barn.  I have loved seeing these beautiful lots.  After about 2 1/2 hours of driving we reached our KOA in Crawfordsville.  Just a plug here for KOA's.  We have never been disappointed in our KOA's.  They are the best campgrounds.  This KOA let us check in early and gave us the best spot in the whole campground.  I picked this stop so that we could go explore Turkey Run State Park. I've heard it's amazing. We will go there tomorrow. Today was officially a rest day.  We did laundry, went shopping for food, watched movies and swam.  It was great.  

When we were swimming, all of a sudden a huge rain storm blew in.  It took a matter of 30 seconds and we went from sun to rain.  We had to pack up and run to our trailer.
