Tuesday August 25, 2020 Farewell St. Louis- Hola Branson Missouri!!!!!!!

 Hello all my family and friends!!!!  Today was a travel day and I have to say, these days are just as fun as non travel days.  We got up in the morning early and took off towards Branson, Missouri.  The drive was only projected to be about 3 1/2 hours. Scotty drove the first two hours then made a stop.  During the planned stop, we got gas, switched drivers and woke the kids up so they could do scripture study and school during the last hour and a half of the drive.  The kids got up without any problems. We studied scriptures as a family then each kid worked alone on a school subject that needed to be done. We arrived in Branson super fast and with ease.  I took a lot of pictures along the way.  I love the cut out lime stone walls and the large bushy trees here in Missouri.  My mom Traveler, is from Missouri so the state holds a special place in my heart.  

 

  

                                                               Branson Missouri                                                                                                     Branson is to Missouri, as Vegas is to Nevada:)))  This place is a party 24-7.  There are endless choices of entertainment.  From bumper cars to ferris wheels, and country music shows to Six (which is a show of 6 men with no instruments that play great music only using their voices). There are all kinds of amusement parks and water parks.  Restaurants here serve all kinds of food with a wide variety of entertainment.   It's crazy here!!!!  Driving down the main street is entertaining all by itself. The buildings are works of art alone.                                                        

    Our campground here is right in the heart of the town.  It is called Musicland Kampground.  We have a great back in spot full of trees and shade.  It is hot and humid here but nothing will get in the way of us having fun!!!!

 We had to finish school after we got all set up in the campground.  The kids finished pretty fast.  We ate tacos for dinner.  Then when Scotty was done with work we left to hit our first attraction, to go ride the Brandon Coaster!!!!

 This coaster is like the one in Park City Utah.  It's shorter then the one in Utah but super fun.  Totally over priced BTW.  The kids loved it and we all laughed and had a fun ride.  After the ride, we went back home and watched more episodes of Psych and went to bed!!!
