Today's morning run was brought to you by Asher and his amazing wheels of gold. . . . and . . edamame!!!! P.S. There are edamame fields here of plenty. I was so tempted to pick one and eat it right off the vine. I decided not to because they all looked under grown:)))

Happy Saturday!!!!! Due to my lack of technological knowledge, this post is backwards. Oops. The real timeline went like this: First we went to Indi and hung out for like 3 hours, then we hurried back to our campground and played there. You will see all the campground pictures first and the Indi pictures second. I have no patience to move every single picture. 😁 Yogi Bear Fun!!!! Our campground is so awesome. Tonight they planned wet wagon rides. We rode on a wagon while 3 firetruck and other campers sprayed us with water. Oh my fun!!! We got drenched. It was a hot day to so it felt great. My kids really enjoyed the whole night. They swam and played everything from basketball to ga-ga ball. There was a huge group of kids for the older boys to hang with. It was good teenage time. Pepper and Taj swam and participated in water fights all night. They even got to spray the firetruck water hose. I didn't even have to worry about the kids all night. I had a soft knowledge of where each kid was all night, but I never was concerned. The play field was right across from our trailer so I could basically see them all night. They all commented that this campground was their favorite so far. I agree. So fun!!! The night was ended with a dance party that we didn't go to because we were packing up the trailer to depart for our next adventure. We all went to bed with a smile. Such a lovely day!!!

Scotty took Asher and Graham to a skate park for about an hour or so. Asher dazzled the locals with his back flips and flairs. After Asher did a back flip, a local yelled, "Who are you"? hahahha

The kids weren't the only ones who made new friends!! We met some really cool people. We met these two because their 5 year old started playing with Taj. Please meet Leane and Tim Warrum. They are from Pendleton, Indiana. Instant friends!!!! I loved talking to them and getting to know them. :))
These guys were our neighbors for too short of a time. I wish we had more time to play with them. Please meet the Moore Family. Scott and Jaime Moore. These guys were also instant friends. Our trailers faced each other so we shared a huge grassy area. Scott Moore helped Scotty pull off one of our tires on the trailer and fix it. It had a loose barring. Scott was so awesome. Thank you for your help. You will be added to our Angel list!!!! Like they say, Bro's who get greasy together, stay friends forever:))))

Time in Indi. This morning we woke everyone up early and headed to Indi for more exploring. Scotty came with us this time so it felt more complete. We explored more parts of the city that we missed yesterday. There is this great canal that runs through part of the city. They were having a 5K along the canal!!! Scotty asked if I wanted to run in it and I was like YES!!! The city was fairly empty again. We loved all the statues and the 9/11 monument. The boys liked riding the electric scooters. I LOVE BIG CITIES!!
Asher got stung by a huge bee. It was a huge angry bee. He recovered super fast.

Loved meeting your family! The angel list goes both ways you know 😉 You have one special family and I enjoyed our little mom talks! Safe travels and I look forward to reading about your adventures.
ReplyDeleteAnother day of great memories and new friends. It's nice to see Pepper's bear (remind me his name) is still with you.
