Sunday August 23, 2020. Church and new friends

 Happy Sunday from St. Louis Missouri.  We found a ward to go to in Eureka, very close to our campground.  The two talks that were given were so good. Two youth speakers spoke and their messages were about Faith in God and also about how the gospel can change you and your life.  So good!!!!

                                                                                                                                                                    After the meeting, we ended up talking to these two great people. David Dawson is from Layton, Utah, just like me. He actually went to high school with my oldest brother Matt.  He remembered Matt.  Also, Marcie and David were in a ward with my parents way back in 2003ish.  Small world!!!!  We talked to them for a while.  After church we went back to the trailer to do our Come Follow Me and to spend some time recovering.  Then David text us and asked if we wanted to go over for dinner.  That sounded super fun to us so we agreed to go play!!!  We went later that evening and really enjoyed their company.  They are a great family and we had a blast getting to know them.  Thank you for your hospitality!! I think that getting to know members of our church from all over the continent is going to be one of my favorite things about our trip.
