I was a bit confused what to do today. The one thing I really wanted to do was go to Chicago and spend the day at the Field Museum. The problem was that we are leaving tomorrow for Indiana. So, we have to have the new tires on by tonight so we can safely drive tomorrow. The tires we ordered were supposed to be delivered today but no one seemed to know what time. The tire place also said that when the tires come in they weren't sure if they'd have time to put them on today. We were in a pickle. What to do? What to do???
I got up and ran, then we all did our BOM reading. At that point I hadn't heard from the tire shop so I decided that we would pack up and head to Chicago to play at the Field Museum. Then when the tires came in, we would drive over there to get them put on. We packed up and jumped in the car. Before we left said our family "travel" prayer. I asked Graham to pray that our tires would come in and that they'd be able to get them on the car by tonight. He said the prayer and we drove off. Literally 30 seconds later my phone rang. The tire place was calling to tell me that the tires were in and they had a time slot at 3:15 for me to go in and get the tires on. Wow!!!! Talk about the fastest answer to prayers ever. Graham said something like,"That was fast"!!! All the kids were in awe. I have to say that I was so surprised. It felt unreal that the tires were going to be put on so fast and that we were going to be OK to leave tomorrow as planned. As a family we talked about how Heavenly Father blessed us and we said a prayer of gratitude. The wonderful news of the tires meant that we had to change our plans to go to the Field Museum. We searched and found a skate park near the tire place and proceeded to go there. When it was time, we drove to the tire place and they took about 2 1/2 hours to get it all done. The tires made the truck feel so great to drive!!!! It was too late to go to the Field Museum so we drove to a different skate park to play for an hour or so. Then we drove home to eat dinner with Scotty. Even though we didn't get to explore Chicago the way I wanted to, we were super grateful to get the new tires on!!!

I'm glad you got the truck taken care of. Have you been hit by any of the big storms in the area? Safe travels!
