There was a mix up in our flights back to CA. Scotty and Graham flew separate from the other kids and I. Scotty and Graham had to leave around 4:30AM for the airport. Pati was so wonderful and took them to the airport so they wouldn't have to get a cab. Then Pati drove the 40 minutes back to the condo to pick up the other kids and I. Our flight went out at 8:30AM. Pati finished packing up at the condo then she took us to the airport. Her flight leaves around 10PM tonight so she will go and explore the National Park today. Thank you Pati for taking all of us to the airport.
We said, "Good bye" to the condo and off we went to go back and finish our RV trip!! We have about 3 1/2 months left to enjoy our Skateparcation!!!

There were a million agriculture checks at the airport. Some how I managed to get my plums on the plane. I totally forgot that I had them. Hahahaha.
Scotty and Graham flew to Oahu, then to Oakland where they met us on the flight back to LAX.

We all met up in Oakland and off we went to LAX. Our flight arrived in LA around 8PM. After picking up Doug, we drove back to Newbury Park where we will stay tomorrow while we pack up and continue on our way!!!
I have enjoyed your pictures and captions so much. How wonderful that Pati could join you for a few days. She seems like a gem of a friend.
ReplyDeleteFunny story, years ago we went to church in D.C. It was summer, so I dressed like I would in California - nice dress, no nylons, dressy sandals. Well, even the young women were dressed to the nines. I felt so out of place. Later that year we were in Hawaii. I wore a nice blouse and skirt with a pale, floral print. We got to church and everyone is dressed in regular church dresses, and the men are all wearing slacks, dress shirts, and ties. Ya can't win for losing!
