Beautiful Waikoloa Village!!
We are so excited to be here!!! A bit tired, but excited!!! At least we know that we don't have Covid hahahahaha.
This is our location for the next 12 days!!
We are on the Big Island right on that blue dot!
The long flight and the stress of all the Covid stuff wore us all out. We used today as a recovery day. There was no way to go anywhere anyways because we didn't have a car. The kids all slept in and then we watched movies. Once the movies got old, we walked across the street to the pool to burn some energy that the kids had. They never fail to put on a show for me;))).

Scotty and I went out for a walk and ended up at the grocery store that is just around the block. Hawaii has the most diverse vegetation. The flowers that are in bloom look so unreal. Their colors are vibrant. I couldn't get enough of the trees and flowers.
We liked the retaining walls made of lava rock.
Then a wild turkey walked by. Yup, there are tons of wild turkeys just hanging around here.

Scotty was able to secure us a car, a mini van to be exact. Around 5 PM he left to Kona to pick it up. The neighbor here took him into Kona. On his way home he stopped at Target for some odds and ends. Even though today was a rest day, we still went to bed exhausted.
