Sunday April 11, 2021 - Waterfall Chasing

This morning we all got dressed and then we drove up to Waimea for church.  

Or should I have said that the kids all were lying around and wouldn't get up for church.  I think we are exhausting our kids with all the fun activities!!!!  They eventually got up for church.  hahahahaha

After church, we went waterfall chasing!!!!  Enjoy!!!

Akaka Falls

We walked down maybe .4 of a mile to see this large waterfall.  It was worth every step, so gorgeous!  The vegetation around the walkways were incredible.  It reminded us of Disney World and the way they would decorate their rides.  Crazy right??!!

Next we drove over to Rainbow Falls!!

Boiling Pots!!!

The last waterfalls we went to were called Narnia.  These falls were recommended to us by locals.  The walk way to the falls was unmarked and you would not know about these falls if you weren't a local.  We had to park on a street and walk up to a fire road that led us to the falls.  These were by far the bet falls of the day.  

Old abandoned houses lined the trail.  So cool for exploring.
