Sunday April 4, 2021- Happy Easter and General Conference

Happy glorious Day of Easter and General Conference!!!

We were up at 6 AM sharp to enjoy General Conference!!  I made the family Over Night French Toast to eat while watching conference.  I also had picked up General Conference Packets that kept the kids focused and busy during both sessions. The kids got wooden things to paint as well for Easter.  Our whole morning was wonderful.  The spirit of our Savior filled the condo and our family made a lovely memory.  

Look at everyone burned;))). We seriously applied sunblock like crazy!

After conference, we hit the road to go see the Kona Hawaii Temple!!!

As we drove I took pictures to always remember the cool lava rock with the ocean in the background.

While we were at the temple, we met other Hawaii visitors that were members.  This guys name is Morgan Mower. He is from Simi!!  Seriously.  Everywhere we go we meet someone from Simi.  It's a small Simi world:))

Our next destination for today was up, up and up!!!  We drove way up in the mountains to a short hike in the Tropical Rain Forest.  And when I say rain, I mean it.  It rained on us.  Hard!!!

This is the trail we did.  They call it the Jurassic Trail.  

Seriously though, look how cool this place is.  So tropical!!!

We were all drenched!!  So guess what we did next??  We drove down the mountain, back into the warm, hot air and did a short walk out to the beach to dry off;))). We are so smart!

This beach is hard to get to.  You have to walk on lava rock the whole way there.  Once we arrived at the beach, we saw black sands and waves crashing against the lava rock.  Oh my amazing!!!  Paradise, I say.  Oh, and we saw two turtles!!
