This morning I got to meet up and run with my running friend Liz!!! I was so excited to see her!!!! She drove out from Simi to run here in Newbury Park with me. 8.5 glorious miles. I so miss running with her.
Here we are getting in to trouble like always!!! hahahaha
After my run, the kids and I spent the whole morning packing up all the last minute stuff. We also tried to clean as much as we could in the house so that Nana didn't have to do it. Pepper and the boys got out on Papa's electric scooter!!
We had parked Homie at the church last night because it was just too big to leave on the streets by the house.
When we were all done packing, we hooked up to Homie and we were off!!! We drove 4 1/2 hours up the 5 to Sequoia Nation Park. The drive was a bit sketchy with our trailer. Lots of big rigs flood the lanes on the 5. I was driving and had to remind myself to relax, the stress of driving next to all those big rigs about did me in.

We drove through Simi Valley. We will be back in 3 1/2 months!!!
Sequoia RV Ranch
Our campground is called Sequoia RV Ranch. I feel like we scored with this campground. The sites are very close together (not wonderful) but we are next to a river and it's absolutely stunning here.

We pulled into our spot around 6ish. The whole family spent the rest of the evening setting up the trailer and moving back in. Oh man, we had a mess to organize. All our clothes from Hawaii needed to be put away. All the food from Costco needed to be organized. Things were dusty and dirty from sitting the last three weeks. And on and on. We worked all night and still didn't get it all done. Tomorrow we'll finish.
It felt so great to be back in Homie!! I was worried that we would be sick of traveling at this point, but everyone seemed happy to be back on the road. More wonderful adventures await us!!! As for now, I am exhausted and I need to sleep.
Good Night world.

Miracles, miracles. I’m so glad the brake issue was found. Congratulations to Asher on getting his blessings — a wonderful milestone. Safe travels!
