Happy Sunday!!!
Nadia is the Persian Group Relief Society President so we drove an hour with them to go to the Persian Group for church.  The whole time they were talking Farsi and we had no idea what they were saying.  They had an interpreter there so we could understand the meeting :). It was seriously so cool to hear Farsi.  Not to mention that it was such a blessing to see Nadia and Isaac in their element;))). If you want to see a cute video the church did of Nadia, click HERE
The sacrament was extra special.  Ishmael blessed the sacrament in Farsi for the first time and Asher and Graham passed the sacrament.  How wonderful it was to watch the boys use their priesthood!!!
After church, we drove to the Arlington War Memorial and had a picnic in front of it.  We could see the Washington Monument from where we were.  Virginia is so magical.  I wish we had years here to see everything and learn everything.  I would actually consider living here if Scotty would.  hahahahaha.  That won't happen:).
Look closely.  Pepper is holding the Washington Monument!!
On our way home from Arlington, we stopped by Old Town Alexandria to walk around and enjoy the beauty of the town.  The kids made my heart melt.  They have all connected and really are enjoying each other.  We will be super sad to leave them.

What an awesome video about Nadia! It thrills me that you are making good friends and reconnecting with relatives. We are truly a multi-cultural church. During the last few months of our son's mission in Toronto he and his companion were asked to learn Farsi.
