Tuesday November 3, 2020. Happy Election Day

Election Day for us started out on a great trail in the Shenandoah Nation Park, Virginia.  We couldn't leave this place without exploring the park.  Our time was limited, so we left early in the morning to be back by noon for check out. We drove along the Skyline Drive and ended up hiking on a trail named Jones Run Falls TrailHead.  The hike was short but beautiful in a Halloween kind of way.  All the leaves had fallen off and the trees were bare.  We spent way too much time there.  It was sad to leave such a beautiful place.  Our time management skills were really bad and we got back to our trailer at 1 PM to leave.  Oops.  We were an hour late for check out.  hahahah.  No worries.  It all worked out fine.

Graham did really well today walking.  We are still waiting and watching to know what to do about his knee.  At the end of 6 weeks we will re-evaluate and see if he needs surgery sooner or later.  If he needs surgery we might just find an Ortho in an area that we will be at and have the surgery there.  That way he can heal and recover with us in the trailer.  There is a lot to consider in this situation.  We just aren't sure yet of what to do:)))

Our drive today was an easy 3 hours.  We drove all the way to Williamsburg VA!!!  Here we will be blessed to learn more about our nations history.  I have to say, learning history by walking through it, is SO much better than reading it in a book.  This is so great! The picture below is the map of how far we have traveled.  I can't believe how much ground we have covered.

Our KOA is amazing!!!  There are hardly any people here.  There is a park and so many great things to play on.  We will be happy here for the rest of the week!!!

To finish off the night, Taj made cup towers and we all are watching the elections unfold.  It's exciting!!!
