It rained all day today. We took advantage of the rain and did school most of the afternoon. The kids are mostly caught up from the last couple of weeks. Taj was super excited because he finished another book for school. Now I need to get him another writing book!!! Cute boy. Pepper and Graham finished their papers on Gettysburg and all their math. Asher completed a lot of his weeks work. I'd say it was a great school day.
We ate yummy pizza and hung out. Then at one point, I gave Taj my phone to finish his reading on the Epic app. After a few minutes, I heard him talking to someone. I was totally confused. So I walked into my room where he was, and there he was, on the phone talking to a lady. She was asking him questions and I was majorly confused. I took the phone and said, "Hello"? The lady proceeded to tell me that she was from a local bike shop and that Taj had called her and started asking about bikes. hahahah. We are looking for a bike for him and he is really excited to find one. Apparently, he went on the google app, voiced in "local bike shops" and then called the number that came up. We were dying!!!!! How seriously funny. What a cleaver boy. Later Scotty called her and they both had a good laugh. Unfortunately they didn't have the bike that we are looking for :( but good job Taj for taking the initiative!!!!!
When school winded down, I took the kids to Walmart for a few things. We ended up getting some Christmas decorations!!! Since we live in a small trailer, we got a small tree!!! It's so adorable!!!! We got stockings and some other decorations. Not too much. We will have a simple Christmas this year!!
After we had set up the Christmas tree, we went outside to wash the outside of the trailer. It has been raining so we thought it was a perfect time to clean off the bugs. Homie is clean now!!!!!!!
Homie and Doug are represented on our tree!!

Congratulations Taj!
ReplyDeleteYour little tree is so cute and perfect for your home.
Today was service Thursday. A few of the guys are gathering to watch a Western and eat pizza with Bob Spease. For about 2 months I have been making cinnamon rolls for their gatherings. I also made fudge for my mom (her request) for our visit tomorrow. Another friend is shipping goods to friends in Honduras who lost everything in a hurricane, so that gave me a good opportunity to survey my food storage and other supplies to help them out.
Safe travels! How is Graham feeling?
