Lena is a neighbor of Nadia!! We hooked up today for a run. It was so nice to run with someone again and chit chat!!!!
This morning Nadia made us German Pancakes!!! Isn't she adorable?? The German Pancakes were delicious and I got the recipe. I am making a Trip Cookbook!!! I'll put all the new things I learned while on the trip in it.
We had a few hours before we had to leave so the cousins hung out and played video games. We sure are going to miss them.
It was time to go and we had another sad goodbye. Nadia and I vowed to make sure that we get our families together soon!!!
Our drive today took us about 4 hours. We drove south to North Carolina. There isn't anything in particular that we are stopping here for. It is just a mid point between VA and South Carolina. Our next stop is the Congaree National Park. We pulled up to our campsite during the twilight hours. The second we started to set up, it poured rain. We had to pause our unpacking until the rain stopped. The kids then did their school work for the rest of the evening. We were all tired and needing a break. I have a feeling that tomorrow will be just that.
