Monday November 23, 2020 Travel Day to Fort Lauderdale FL

Thanksgiving will be celebrated in Fort Lauderdale/Miami this year!!!  We drove about 2 hours south to the KOA in Davie/Fort Lauderdale FL.  The drive was smooth and easy and we really like our new KOA.  The best parts of today had to do with animals.  Scotty caught a lizard so Taj could hold it AND there are ugly ducks everywhere at our new KOA.  The ducks are hilarious.  They walk right up to our trailer and look at us.  It's weird.  

Travel days are exhausting.  We set up the trailer and ate dinner.  Then we tried to go see Christmas lights but failed.  We decided to just watch a movie instead.  Everyone is exhausted still from Disney.  We took Thanksgiving break off last week while we were at Disney so the kids have school this week (except for Thanksgiving Day).  I love homeschooling because I can adjust our schedule to accommodate our trips schedule.  It's great!!!
