This post is backwards:)) Here are pictures from our evening bike ride we did as a family. The sunset was stunning tonight. I couldn't help myself but take a lot of pictures of it. We rode all over the campground and showed Scotty the mini golf area. He didn't think it was very spooky here. I still stand by the spookiness of the woods. Spiders and webs and hidden things everywhere. Hhahahah. My imagination at work.
For history class today I took the kids to a Civil War site here in Lone Jack. The kids looked around then we all looked up the information about the battle that happened right here under our feet. We talked about the United States of America vs the Confederate States of America. We talked about slavery and why the war started. It was so great because Pepper didn't even know what "civil war" meant. She knows now:))) We spent about an hour researching the battle/war and learned a lot today.
Here are pictures from school. The kids worked so hard today and we got done fast. I am still loving the homeschooling thing. It really is a secret weapon that we as parents have to teach our children correct principles.

Nothing beats learning by seeing and doing!
