It rained all morning today. The rain didn't stop until around 2 PM. We all felt lazy so we slept in and then spent the morning reading, watching TV and doing laundry. When there was a break in the rain, I went for a run along with Graham. He rode his bike to keep me safe:O). We explored the city and drew a lot of attention to ourselves. So many people drove by and stared at us. It was weird. Maybe it was because Graham looks like he could be in a boy band:)))))

Asher has been complaining that his clavicle is still hurting from his accident in Frisco, CO. If you missed that post, click HERE to read what happened to Asher . I looked at it and wasn't sure what to do for it. Then he said to me yesterday that it felt like the bone was out of joint. I looked at it and then it all made sense to me. The bone WAS out of joint. That is why there is still swelling in the joint!!! So, I made an appointment today for him to go get it put back in. We found this great chiropractor. She was so knowledgeable and helpful. I told her all my thoughts and she validated what I was thinking. That the bone is not broken and does not need any further imaging. All he needed was to get it put back into place. Now he can finish healing. I am so glad and so is he.
When we all felt like going somewhere, I took the kids to the City Beach over in Ranier which is about 4 miles away from us. The beach was really cool. If you looked across the river, you could see Canada!!!! We yelled "Aye" to Canada. Too bad the borders are closed :(. The beach had a great slide in the water for the kids. Pepper and Taj took their tubes and played on the water and went down the slide. I didn't get pictures of them playing because this cool couple was talking to me about their travels. There were many things to do like basketball, picnicking in the pavilion and playing on the toys . There was even a piano there ready to be played. No other kids were there so it felt like it was our own little piece of paradise.

This is a huge statue of a Voyageur that represents the National Park here.

I haven't written anything about the mosquitoes. Nightly we have a huge battle with all the mosquitoes. There have been so many since Colorado. People told me that I would be amazed at how many bugs are out there once you leave CA. They were right. So, every night we kill them. Here is Taj taking the front line:)

What lovely little communities you are exploring! What's the story on that colorful piano? I am so glad you found a doctor for Asher. Maybe that was the cause of him being out of sorts the other day --he just didn't feel well. Happy healing!
