Saturday July 25, 2020 Goodbye International Falls, Hello Duluth, Minnestota

Today was our last day in International Falls.  Scotty and I decided to go out with a bang and go for a run together:))))) hahahha  It's only funny because Scotty never runs.  He actually did great even though he looks tired.  When we got back from the run, we packed up and drove South East towards Duluth Minnesota.

Scotty drove the whole way.  It was so nice to  navigate and relax:)))     It's stressful driving our huge trailer.

I found this cool trail en route just passed the City of Orr.  We decided to stop and check it out.  The ground was totally swampy so the trail was made of wooden slats.  We've never been on a trail like this so we had to hike it just to have the experience.  Asher hated the bugs so he ran through it.  There were a bunch of bugs.  The rest of us walked and looked at all the cool vegetation.

This is a tree root.  The tree fell over and the roots are just hanging out.

We worked up an appetite and the kids really wanted McDonalds.  Barf.  So we stopped there and ate food.

This McDonalds has a special drive through for big rigs.  We had to play!!!!  We thought we were so funny.

We saw this cool Air force Jet on the freeway.
Here is the beautiful land we got to see on our way to Duluth!!!

We arrived at our awesome campground in Duluth.  We are on a marina right on the water just off of Lake Superior.  It is absolutely beautiful.  I feel so blessed to be here!

After we set up the trailer, we didn't waste anytime, we took off for the coolest skate park we could find. We got to go on these amazing bridges to get to the skate park. The park we picked was actually in Wisconsin, but only 8 miles away.  It was one of the best parks that we have found on our trip.  The kids had a blast.  At one point Asher was doing his scooter tricks and I heard some locals say, "That kid is insane. Did you see the trick he just did"?  They were impressed. Pepper decided that she likes skate boarding so Scotty was giving her lessons.

When the kids were done we drove to the closest frozen yogurt place.  We got to go on the cool bridges again:)))

Then a deer decided to join us for frozen yogurt:)))))

  1. Such fun! The marina camp spot does look cool. It's good to see more pics of Scotty, and it was great seeing you at "ZOOM church" this morning!
