Today we went to a total tourist trap :)) We had to. We don't want to miss anything. Wall is a small town just off of the 90. Their streets are lined with really cool stores and a cute cafe. We ate hamburgers and donuts for lunch. Then we took our time walking through as many stores as we wanted to. The kids got some great souvenirs and I got memorable pictures. My parents were so funny. We seriously enjoyed all the "stuff" we saw.

Minuteman Missile Natural Historic Site was on our way back to the campground. My dad wanted to stop there so we all did and boy did we get an education on the minuteman missiles. I remember learning about them in school but this was an education. Scary and unsure times. I'm so glad that we never had to launch these nuclear bombs.

Our last stop of the day was to feed the prairie dogs at the Prairie Dog Store. We didn't just feed them, we got to pet them. It was so sweet. The prairie dogs weren't afraid of us and they let us play with them. They loved Taj. He could feed them even if he ran right up to them. For some reason they totally trusted him. We were all in awe at the lack of alarm. My dad commented that this must be how it will be like when the lamb and the lion will lie down together in the millennium. It was a beautiful experience and we all fell in love with the prairie dogs.

We really didn't eat dinner because we ate enough donuts to keep us full for a week. So we sat around and talked and ate cherries.

I've heard of Wall Drug. Wow! While we sit here in pandemic-land, you're able to find fun, interesting and educational places that are open. I hope Zoltar didn't give you any bad advice. Safe journey!
