June 6, 2020 Goodbye Rapid City Hello Badlands National Park South Dakota

This morning we all woke up and packed the trailer. We left our beloved Rapid City and headed towards Badlands National Park.  We only had to drive about 2 hours to get to our KOA.   We couldn't check in until 1 PM so we parked at the Badlands visitors center. This place is incredible. We spent some time soaking in the beauty of the peaks and valleys.  Then we hiked all over  one of the formations.  We ate food and guess who we found????? Joe and Traveler Nicosia!!!!  They drove up to meet us!!!!  They got a spot at our campground so they could spend the week with us. How fun!!!  We all drove to the KOA and checked in.  We spent the evening playing and eating and exploring.  Everyone was tired so today was a chill day. Tomorrow we will go and explore the Badlands!!!!  I'm so excited.
