Saturday July 11, 2020 - Goodbye Badlands Hello Medora, North Dakota

Here we are driving away .       Today was a travel day!!!  Scotty went for a bike ride in the morning so we left when he got back. We drove about 350 miles today.  In a car 350 miles is long but in a trailer it's longer.  It took us all day.  I have to give props to my kids. They were so good.  Graham and Taj stayed in the trailer watching movies.  Asher and Pepper were in the truck with us playing games.  Even though the ride was long, it was easy and the landscape was beautiful and entertaining.    We arrived at our campground around 6 PM. When we pulled up to the campground I was super concerned because the spaces were very tight and our spot is a back in.  Backing our trailer in the first place is hard, but backing it into a small spot, well, that takes talent. Some of our new neighbors (who happen to be from California!) came over and helped us.  Scotty did a phenomenal job. He backed it in perfectly.   I was so proud of him.  I feel like now we can back this thing in to any spot.  Here are pictures of the land we saw while we were driving.  We saw lots and lots of fields with grain. I felt like singing America the Beautiful.                                                                                                              We are in the small city of Medora. The reason why we made this stop was to visit Theodore Roosevelt National Park.  Our campground is just outside of town.  We are sandwiched between 2 mountains.  It's gorgeous.

This is the longest poop hose we have had to set up.  We used all our hoses for this one.  hahahhaha

Here is our map of how far we have traveled so far.  7 states. This is way too fun.
