Today was our last day in the Badlands. Scotty had to work but he planned to be done early. We really wanted to spend some time in the Badlands with Scotty so basically we all sat around until he was ready to go. When he was ready, we took him to all our favorite spots. Today was a different experience in the Badlands because there was lightening and thunder storms all around the area. The lightening wasn't close enough for us to go back home so we were careful and proceeded exploring. We had a lovely day. Then when we were tired we went home and cooked chicken and rice for dinner. Our total days in the Badlands were three. I feel like three days was enough to really enjoy the area. We are leaving tomorrow and as much as I love it here, I feel like we had enough time to soak it all in and I am ready to move on. This week we had a few instances when the kids were arguing but over all they are arguing so much less then they were before the trip. I see more team work and love and hugs and "can I help you's" then I have ever seen. This week we have been working on respect. Respect for others, ourselves, the world we live in and God. I'm so glad that we have these experiences together so we can all learn together. Families are defendant ordained of God.
