Today was our last day to play with Mark, Kim and the kids. Scotty, Mark and Kim had to work today so I took the kids out of the house to the Omsi. The Omsi is a science museum in Portland, Oregon. They had an amazing dinosaur display up. Eva and Kyler were so much fun to have along with my kids. Cousins really are the best.

The dinosaurs were made of soft material and they moved!!! They made sounds and moved!!! Taj was a little startled at first. After a while he got used to the idea of them moving and he wasn't so unsure about the dinosaurs.

We took a break after an hour for lunch.

Look at these cuties.

We left the Omsi around 2:30 ish to go back to the house. Mark and Kim have two adorable dogs named Hunter and Theo. Pepper was in heaven:O)

Around 5 PM ish, we all pilled into the trucks and drove to go see the Ape Caves!! These are the longest lava tubes in the world! Mount St. Helens is the volcano who's lava created the tubes. There was no artificial lighting in the tubes so we brought our flash lights. We had to bring our jackets too because it got freezing cold the further down we got. Marks goal was to see a bat. We didn't see one until we walked out of the opening of the tube and then there was a bat flying around the entrance. These tubes were huge at parts and ginormous at others. When we looked closely, we could see stalactites forming on the top of the tube. If we come back here in 100,000 years, I bet there will be tons of growth in the tubes. I have to say, this was a super cool experience. The kids loved it and all the adults did too:))

The entrance.

On our way home, we stopped for dinner. Trucks are great because we could all eat in the backs of them. So convenient and mess free;))

Back at the house, we had to say our sad goodbyes;(. None of the kids wanted to leave their cousins. We really had a great time. Tomorrow we travel to our next stop. We will miss Mark, Kim, Eva and Kyler but the memories will always be with us:))

OMSI is one of our favorite museums. We took our kids there a few times when we were visiting family in the area.
