White Water Rafting is a BLAST!!!
The Middle Fork Flathead River runs along the boarder of Glacier National Park and National Forests. There are a ton of rafting companies locally. Great Northern was the rafting company that had 6 spots available for us, so I picked them. We met at Great Northern, then the raft guides fitted all of us with life jacket and split us up into family groups. We were grouped with a cute family from India. It was at this point that they asked for volunteers to ride the inflatable kayaks instead of the rafts. Guess who volunteered? Yup, my two boys. Graham volunteered first, then Asher was like, "Me too"! Crazy boys. They had to get full wetsuits and helmets to ride the kayaks down the white waters.

Then we jumped on a bus and they drove us 15 minutes up the river to start our adventure.
This map shows all the names of the white water segments we went on. Our favorite was Jaws!!
This is where we waited for our boat and kayak to be ready.

Then we all jumped in the raft and kayak, and off we went!!!

Asher and Graham on their kayak.
At one point, Scotty, Pepper and Taj jumped in the 45 degree water. COLD!!!
All the tour guides thought that Asher and Graham would be swimming during the white water sections. They never fell in the water. They did so good. Everyone was super impressed with them.
We had so much fun. The rapids were great!! They were level 2-3 so big, but not crazy big. We hit 10 rapid sections and boy were we laughing and screaming. During the biggest rapids - like Jaws - Taj sat deep in the boat, but during the lighter rapids he sat on the boats edge and paddled. He is totally an adrenaline junky:)). He loved it. Pepper even loved it. She was scared at first but then she was super brave and paddled hard.
Our favorite rapids were Jaws, Bone Crusher, Pump House and PinBall. Our guides name was Jazz. She was great.
Here we are with Jazz.
