Thursday June 17, 2021 - Travel Day to St. Mary KOA - Glacier National Park

Well, here it is.  Montana was the last "new" state that we will travel in for the rest of our trip.  We did it. We have gone to all the states that were planned.  When Pepper scratched off Montana, we were a bit in shock that that's it.  No more states to add to our list.  That makes 46 states plus D.C.  I LOVE OUR TRIP!!  We missed Nebraska, Oklahoma, Vermont and Alaska.

We drove today for about 5 hours to get up to East Glacier at the KOA in St. Mary's.  Oh my word.  The drive was beautiful.  I didn't take any pictures because Pepper was using my phone while I was driving.  But, man this is beautiful country.

Here is our KOA at dusk (which is around 10 PM). It doesn't get dark here until about 10:15-10:30. Crazy!  Then it's light at 5 AM.

Scotty and I got Cabela's hats yesterday;)) We twins.

Around 9:30 PM we started a fire.  We sat around the fire until about 11 PM laughing and looking at pictures from our trip.  We've made so many memories.  What a blessing.

Scotty had a pack of powder that made the fire turn colors.  This picture doesn't do it justice.  You can only see the green.  We saw pink, red, blue and purple.

This was at about 11 PM.  It was finally dark.  Tomorrow will be our first day in the park.  I'm super excited to see what most people have told me is "their favorite National Park".
