Today is a travel day!!
Before we left, but after we packed up the trailer, the kids and I went to town just one last time!!
Our first stop was to the Sweet Palace. We had to get some yummies one last time from there.
As the kids were checking out, the cute old lady in the picture below was told that she couldn't pay with a credit card, only cash. She didn't have cash. Asher tried to give her his money but the lady wouldn't take it. How cute is that? The lady ended up paying with all her coins and then left. The girl at the cash register told Asher that since he was willing to help pay for the old ladies candies, that she wanted to give Asher his candy for free. She didn't make him pay for it. I loved this because we were talking about this concept in church on Sunday. The concept that when you consecrate your things, and share your possessions with others, you usually get more in return. I was proud of Ash for wanting to share his money with the cute old lady.
After the candy shop, we crossed the street to the Montana Gems store. There they have bags that you can go through and find "planted" huge gems!!! We got one bag and went to work:))). Taj loved this. He found some really big gems!

It was still too early for Graham:)) Hahahaha
Taj found a shark tooth!!!
The guy there gave all the kid geodes!!
After our dig, it was time to leave or beloved Philipsburg :(. We really had a good time there.
We drove East on the 90 for about 5 hours to Billings, Montana. Here the KOA is the first ever KOA!!! I didn't get pictures of hour site yet, because we had to unpack and then Scotty and I left for a Costco run. We had some "important" shopping to do:))

We bought two blow up paddle boards!!! Yay!!! The first time we used these was with my brother Mark. They had one and we loved it!!! Then in Coeur d'Alene, our friends brought their blow up paddle boards and again we loved them. Scotty and I decided that we had to have two:))). Can't wait to use them!!!

I can't wait to see pics of the paddle-boarding. Fun, that you are staying at the original KOA. I love that your kids are so into caring and giving to others. You have raised them by example to love and serve. It's so nice that the boys feel comfortable honoring their priesthood and jumping in to serve at the many wards you visit. What a wonderful gesture Asher made at the candy store. I'm glad he was rewarded.
