Tuesday June 15, 2021 - The Bitterroot Montana

This morning Taj woke up and helped Arlene wash dishes.  Then he helped her make a towel hanger for the bathroom.  Arlene was so patient and their conversations were so funny.  

Once the kids were awake and ready, we went downtown to the candy shop!  The kids got candy and chocolate.  Arlene and I got bear claws.  So tasty!!!

The local skatepark was calling our names, we hit that next.  It was warm outside so Arlene got all the kids ice cream from her friend that was selling ice cream as a fundraiser for dancers.  

Isn't this funny?  She was cruising around town on her Razor, pulling an ice cream trailer, while playing the music that ice cream people play.  I thought this was so funny. You would never see that in Simi Valley:))

Back at the Williams beautiful house, Wayne was mowing the lawn.  Taj couldn't help himself.  He had to ride the lawnmower.  Wayne let him drive!!  Arlene and Wayne will be the best grandparents!!

This is Walker!  Their dog is the best.  Walker is huge and strong but he doesn't shed:))). The kids spent a lot of time playing with him,  throwing his frisbee, playing tug-a-war, chasing him all over the yard.  He was very gentle with the kids, especially Taj. He seemed to really take to Taj. Maybe because they were the same size.  I'm not sure why but he basically claimed Taj as his own.  One time Pepper and Taj were wrestling and Walker was not going to let Pepper wrestle Taj.  He went to intervene. He is Taj's protector;)). I need one of these dogs to run with me:))) 

As soon as Scotty was done working, we all left for a hike in the Bitterroot.  The Bitterroot is basically the valley that runs down this area.  We hiked up the Blodgett Canyon Overlook Trail. The view from the top was spectacular.  The hike was easy enough for the kids and we all felt super happy to be in nature.  

Oh yea, it was windy at the top:))))

Walker got to come with us;)). See, he is watching over Taj;))

I love it when my kids give me flowers;))

No, he isn't peeing:))). I just happened to snap the picture the second he was fanning his shirt. hahahahaha.
