Here are a few pictures of Waldport. The Oregon Coast is really something, it is absolutely beautiful. Waldport is where the forest meats the ocean. I took these pictures on my run today.
Sea Lions all over the place
Since we didn't have school today ( yay!!!) we did our scriptures and then left. It was easy to get out!! Our first adventure today was to the Sea Lion Cave. This cave is the largest ocean cave made my water. The sea lions have gone in and made it their home during the cold months. They also go there to bread and to hang out!

We had to ride this elevator down to the cave. Apparently, some guy bought this property from the government back in the 1930's. He made trails down to the cave so people could go and see the sea lions. Later, an elevator was put in and today it's a pretty great place to explore.

Our view of the cave from the deck
Down in the cave there is a small museum that teaches you about the cave and the sea life there.
This is a sea lion skeleton.

Classic!!!
By the time we were done with the Sea Lion Caves, Scotty was done working so we drove back to Homie to pick him up. Then we drove back down the coast to Devils Churn. This is an area that when the tide is high, water sprays really high through the lava rocks on the beach. Unfortunately, when we were there, it was low tide. But, because it was low tide, we got to do so much more down on the rocks. We explored all over the area. The tide pools were exceptional! You'll see by the pictures, but we found all kinds of sea life. We stayed there walking all around until it got dark.

This is the area that the water crashes when it's high tide.
Taj trying to grab a starfish.

Drift wood is so pretty!
The water crashing on the rocks held my attention for a long time. I had to get pictures of the water spraying all over when it hit the rocks.
This is sideways. Sorry, but it is Asher jumping over this huge gap.
That's not a starfish!!
THIS is a starfish!! Hahahaha

Side ways picture back flip
Asher crashed. He got all scraped up :(

"It's cool to pee your pants". Hahahaha. This is what happens when Graham gets by the ocean;)) He comes home wearing the ocean.
