Today we travel!!
We woke up and cleaned, packed and prepared to leave our KOA that we love. My parents are heading to our next stop with us:))). We took off around 11 AM. Around 12 something, we had to stop for a while so Scotty could take a few video calls. The drive wasn't horrible at all today. It was short and mainly on the 5. This stop is our last stop in California. Then we head to Oregon.
That is Mount Shasta. Just a few facts: 1- 15,000 people ascent the volcano per year, 1 in 3 make the summit, 2- The last time it erupted was in the late 1700's, 3- There are 7 glaciers on the volcano, 4- We have a 25-30% chance that the volcano will erupt in our life time. Cool right!!!
As we pulled into the Mount Shasta KOA, we were happy to be done driving for the day. Our site is a bit smaller but we fit just fine. We are right next to my parents.

You are such a talented photographer. The caverns and lava tube looked so interesting. I'm glad your parents could join up with you again.
