Tuesday May 18, 2021 - Fishing, Treats and Waterfalls

Lemolo Lake/ Crater Lake KOA boarders Lake Lemolo.  We are about 18 miles from the North Entrance of Crater Lake National Park.  Too bad that the North Entrance is closed still :(. When we go to Crater Lake, we will have to drive 65 miles to the South Entrance.  The plan is to do that on Saturday.  As for today, we chilled and loved it.  Well, Pepper, Taj, Graham and I chilled. Asher was buys finishing finals and Scotty worked all day.

I took the kids out to Lake Lemolo to go fishing;)). We didn't catch anything but I was very impressed at the amazing way that Taj and Pepper could cast their fishing lines.  Wow!  They are really getting good.

Look at that form:))

This is our back yard for a week.  You can't beat this.

After we went fishing, I took the kids to the KOA store for treats!!

Later in the evening, after work and school was done for Scotty and Asher, we went waterfall chasing!!  There are six waterfalls within 20 miles of our KOA.  Today we explored two.  The first fall we went to was called Clearwater Falls.  The hike to it was basically a walk of about 200 feet.  Very easy yet such an exquisite waterfall.

Yes, the water was very clear!!

The second waterfall was literally 5 miles down the road from the first.  This one is called Whitehorse Falls.  You can see the falls from the parking lot so no real hike to this one.  Yet again, just amazing!!
