Friday May 28, 2021 Travel Day to Vancouver Washington!!

Scotty had today off!!  Avaya gave their employees today off as part of Employee Appreciation Month.  Yay for a four day weekend!!   And. . Scotty drove so I didn't have to ;))). The drive was easy and uneventful.  Doug and Homie performed well:)). I love them;)

The reason we decided to make Vancouver a stop was to go visit my younger (not smaller) brother Mark and his wife Kim!!!!!! But before we arrived there, we stopped at one of Scotty's old riding buddies house. His name is John Ohran.  Scotty and him road together for a few years back when John lived in TO.  I totally forgot to take a picture with him and his family but we visited them for an hour or so. Then we finished our drive to Marks house.

The plan at Marks house was to park Homie in the front yard between his house and his neighbors.  Now that was a tricky one.  We had to back up Homie up over the curb.  Mark had ramps so he helped us get up and over the curb.  We backed Homie in between the two houses.  It was really crazy doing that, but we did it.  Then, we thought that it would be east to level Homie.  NOPE. It was a nightmare.  At one point I thought Homie was going to tip over. He started slipping off of his plastic block risers when he was leveling himself.  I about had a heart attach.  We had to stop Homie from automatically leaving, attach him back on the truck then try again.  The second time we tried to level him, we locked the tires and put a huge pile of wood down to lift up the front of Homie more.  This helped:). No slipping.  And instead of automatically leveling him, we did it manually.  That was better.  This is the final product.  Talk about scary.  If Homie ever slips and falls and breaks, we are done so he can't do that.

How fun to have the cousins together again:))). The rest of the night was spent together.  I love family!!

Mark grilled hamburgers and hotdogs for everyone.  Happy Day!!!
