This morning Scotty rode with me on my run. We found a great loop and treasured the alone time we had;) One thing we have enjoyed on our trip is exploring through running or biking.
This ski lift swing is in our KOA
After my run, Scotty and the boys went to ride the trails on Mt. Shasta. They said the trails were really well done and they even found some jumps. Boys day out!!

While the boys were gone biking, my dad, Pepper, Taj and I went to the Main Street of Mt. Shasta to walk through the shops. There is a really fun belief here about Mt. Shasta. The Indians that lived here long ago, believed that there is a group of people that live inside the volcano. These people are immortal because the crystals in the volcano keep them alive and the most beautiful people in the world. Ice Age anyone??? The town is all about being spiritual. They have Buddha statues everywhere, fairies statues, Egyptian statues and lots of crystal shops. We had the best time walking through the shops and soaking in their spiritual beliefs. I seriously love learning about the history of these small towns.

Later that day, Scotty and I got out for a hike. Our 19th anniversary is next Monday the 17th. Since we have my parents with us, we got out alone. First we went to grab some grub, then we drove up to Castle Lake. At Castle Lake, we jumped on a trail that took us up the mountain to Heart Lake. The bishop of the local ward told us about this hike. We loved it!!! Heart Lake to celebrate our anniversary!! Cool right??!!
These fries were cooked in duck fat! Duck fries;)))

Once we got back home, I went to play with Taj and Pepper. We had the best day ever.
