Friday July 30, 2021 - Zion National Park - The Narrows

The Millers drove up to Zion's today with us.  It's been so fun to have them around this week.  I have't taken a lot of pictures ( I think I'm winding down from being a Japanese Tourist) ;).  We have spent time, mostly in the evenings, with them.  With the heat we usually meat in the pool at night;))

This morning Graham was out fixing his bike. 

 The plan today was to hike the narrows.  I was worried about Pepper and Taj being up there with Flash Flood warnings, so we left them with my parents today.  My parents were so awesome to watch them so we could do big kid stuff today;)) Thank you Moby and Dumby!  

Then around 1 PM, we all drove up to Zions;). Zion's is totally open without any timed entry now.  The only thing you have to do is wear a mask on the shuttle.  

We rode the shuttle up to the Emerald Pools.  There was a nice 3 mile hike there with fantastic views.  

Hahahaha.  Asher totally flexing.  

We ate lunch at a picnic area that we found.  

After our hike, we saw that the storm was totally gone so we had no worries of a flash flood.  The Narrows were still marked as closed.  Guess what we did???  Yup, we were rebels and hiked the narrows!!!  It was seriously the coolest!!  The water was weird.  It looked like chocolate milk.  

Our feet got so sandy that we had to wash them off in this foot wash area.  Zion's is such a great park for hiking.  We've been here three times on this trip.  Crazy!! Love Zions!!
