Saturday July 24, 2021 - Kayaking in Antelope Canyon

More water fun today!!
Antelope Canyon is an absolutely amazing slot canyon! We decided to rent two double kayaks and take our two paddle boards into the canyon.  The boys pumped up the paddle boards before we walked down the launch ramp. As we were walking down the ramp, one of the paddle boards popped and died.  Oof.  One of the boys (I won't say who) pumped it up too high.  It's supposed to be at 15 PSI but this one boy - A- Nothing - pumped it up to 17 PSI and was too lazy to let the extra air out. Well, life lesson.  PSI is actually a thing and is important.  We didn't worry much about it because we can take it back to Costco and we still had the other board.

This is the Antelope Launch ramp.  Usually the water level is up to where those trucks are.  Soooo low.

From this picture, you can see that Grahams board didn't pop.

The company that we rented the kayaks from took them down to the water for us because it was so low.

In the canyon, we found a lot of cliff jump spots.  Everyone jumped!!!  Taj was our 360 boy.  He jumped and did 360's.  What a cute boy.

Our kayaks were due back by 5 PM.  After we were done, we grabbed dinner and the kids swam the rest of the night.  Tough life right ?  Hahahaha Another wonderful family day at Lake Powell.
