Thursday July 15, 2021 Rigby Lake, BYUI and Big Jud's

Camping on this lake was the best decision.  The Turville kids and the LaBass kids got up early and went immediately  on the lake!  The lake has an area that has a slide and a platform and other things to play on.  Many other families come for just the day, so our kids went out there to hang with the other kids.  The days went so fast because they were having fun.

Pepper and Kamie played a game where they knocked each other off the board.

Taj didn't have a paddle so he used a stick :)). He is such a cutie.

These three boys (Asher, Graham and Mason) are so much alike.  Mason fits in with my boys perfectly.

The kids literally played up until it was time to go to BYUI for a campus tour.  Asher is considering going  there for college so I wanted him to see it before he made his decision.  Back when this school was named Ricks, I went here for my Freshmen year.  I loved it so much.  I made great friends and loved my classes.

We had another surprise visitor:)). Michelles daughter Sydney works on the campus of BYUI and she came to go on our tour with us just so we could catch up!!  She is getting married in August and seemed so happy.  We love you Syd!

Our cute tour guide! She just got her mission call to Salt Lake City Temple Square!!  She will love it.

As we entered this ginormous gym, my family showed our tour guide what sets us apart from her other tours :)) Hahahah.  The boys saw this huge, empty gym and they had to use it.  They all decided to run and race each other.  They did that for about 10 minutes and all the workers were laughing at us.  It was a great moment.  Our tour guide was like, "I've never had anyone do that before".  Hahhahaa.

BYUI has a conference center that is a close replica to the Conference Center in Utah.  It is beautiful.  Our guide told us that if anything happens to the Conference Center in Utah, they will use this one as a back up.  Cool:)

We finished our tour, bought some souvenirs and . . .

Then we drove by the house that Brian and Sharla first lived in as a married couple in Rexburg.  Cute!!!

Then we went to Costco to trade in the popped paddle board. . .

Then we went to Big Jud's for dinner:)))
Big Jud's is known for their ginormous burgers.  If you eat one of the big ones, you get your picture on the wall.  No, we didn't even try. They are too big.

Do y'all remember Mikayla and Tailer from back in Indiana??  They met up with us there and then they moved here to Idaho!!  So we got to see them again!!  They are seriously my favorite.  These two are the cutest. They ate with us, then went back to the lake to play in the water.   Thanks for coming to play with us again.

Here is one of the burgers.  I know!!! It's so huge.

And Ice cream is always a must.

No, he didn't bonk her in the head:))

Back at the lake the kids played in the water after they packed up the bikes.  Unfortunately, tomorrow is a travel day and all our Turville/LaBass fun is over :(

After the kids packed up the trailer, and were all done playing in the lake, they watched a movie in our trailer.  The adults sat outside and talked until about midnight.  Then we said our goodbyes and went to bed. Until next year!!!
