Day 2 in Yellowstone was wonderful!!
We left the trailer at 9 AM and didn't come back until around 8PM. We played hard all day. The kids ate it all up. They love it here.
We stopped for lunch at a picnic area by the river. Good food = Good energy;))). Then we kept moving!
We saw this guys shirt and Graham and I really liked it so we took a picture with him. He was super cool:)). I just love people like him.
Steamboat Geyer is amazing. This Geyser blows up to 3 times higher than Old Faithful. It is very unpredictable when it will blow. One time it went 50 years without blowing. Another time it blew after 4 days. Guess what?? It blew this morning!! No we didn't see it blow but we got to see it steam!! It steams for up to 24 hours after it blows. The steam was impressive!!
The kids figured out how to float down the river without a tube. It was so funny to watch them. I died laughing.
After all the walking and climbing and floating, we went on a 4 mile bike ride. This trail led us to the base of a mountain. No bears!!!

After the bike ride, we went back to a basin that we found yesterday. Each time we have been there, no one was there. We thought this would be a perfect place to test science. "In the name of Science", we boiled an egg in the basin. It was the kids idea. We found a shallow place that we cold put the egg in, and then retrieve it. It totally boiled. We seriously enjoyed this. We were all laughing that we boiled an egg in a geyser. Who does that??? Hahahaha

The proud owners of a geyser boiled egg!

After the boiled egg, we went back to the river to play some more. The kids floated down it and Graham figured out how to ride his bike all the way across the river even with the other kids acting as the peanut gallery.

There they are. The peanut gallery. They were heckling Graham each time he couldn't get across the river on his bike. There was a couple there eating dinner watching the whole thing go down. Once Graham crossed the river, they cheered for him. It was cute of them.
Asher ate 5 donuts today. Hahahaha

We went back home to see Scotty and the kids went straight out to play some more. I have no idea how they have the energy that they do.
