This is our map of our trip. It's so crazy to see all the places we've been. This map is and will be a treasure for us. It needs to be framed when we get home;).
Our view this morning as we woke up. Devils Tower is pretty dang cool.
Today was a hot one so we hit the pool. I was trying to kill time with the kids because I wanted Scotty to go up to Devils Tower with us when he was done working. Swimming was perfect!
Then we got the kids ice cream. They've eaten so much ice cream lately. It's just so yummy on a hot day!!
When Scotty was done working, we all drove up to Devils tower. I'm glad that we waited until the end of the day. Earlier today there was a huge line of people going up to the tower. I'm sure it was crazy busy up there during all that time, and it was super hot. When we went up, there was no line and not many people on the trial, and it wasn't very hot:). We walked all along the Tower Trail. The prayer clothes were pretty cool for the kids to see. This land is very sacred for the Indians. One thing that we saw that we thought was crazy cool, was a group of people rock climbing up to the top of the tower. We saw one guy get all the way up. Looked like fun to us!!
