Saturday July 31, 2021 - Travel Day to Barstow, California.

Here are all the bikes laid out ready to be packed into Homie for their ride home.  Packing this time is a bit different.  The next time we unpack the bikes, we will be putting them into our garage at home.  Weird.

Look at all the magnets we acquired on our trip.  They are so fun to look at because all the memories of those places return!! I plan to frame a piece of sheet metal at home and display them on that.

After we had packed up Homie, we went over to say good bye to Willie and Amy.  They are staying on the road for another year or so.  Then they will find a place to settle down at.  Thank you for being such cool and fun road buddies and for hanging with us in three different places on our trip!!!

Here is Homie and the Millers trailer. Momentum Power!!!

We inherited a couch and other fun goodies from my parents so on our way out, we stopped at their house to pick those things up and to say good bye to my parents.

The garage is packed FULL!!!

Good bye mommy!

Good Bye Daddy!
They met us at three different locations on our trip.  Man that was fun!!

We drove all the way to Primm, then guess who we crossed paths with???   Grace and Nena were driving from California to Utah so we met up with them for lunch!!!

Nena and all her grandkids in Homie!

Pepper and Faye!

Cuties!!  Grace and Scotty

Then, it was off to Barstow for us.  Barstow has a KOA just off of the 15 freeway.  It is about three hours away from home for us.  I thought it would be a great place to rest before the last drive home.

I will miss these moments.  When all my family is safely in the truck with me and we are going some place exciting!

Here is our KOA!

The swimming pool here is seriously great. The water is cold and it felt amazing with 105 degree temps.

Three miles from our campground there is a drive in movie theatre.  OH ya baby.  Drive in movie night for us.  We went and saw Jungle Cruise with the Rock in it.  It was cute.  The best was the experience.  My kids had never been to a drive in before.  This was our last night of the trip.  Every moment counted and we used every moment to be together and enjoy!!  The movie got over late so when it was done, we all went to bed.
 Tomorrow, we go home.
