Tuesday March 2, 2021 - Travel Day to 4 Corners and then to Bluff UT.

Our time in New Mexico is over.  Today we packed up the trailer and traveled an hour and a half to see the Four Corners Monument.  This is where Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico all come together.  One can stand in all four states at the same time if they use their arms and legs hunched over like a dog.  We were excited to go see it.  Unfortunately, it is located on the Navajo Nation Reservation and they still have all their stuff closed.  We couldn't go see it :( Booooooo

To get to the Four Corners, you have to take a turn off of the main highway there. On the corner of the turn, is a convenient gas station thingy.  We stopped there so Scotty could take a call and to go in to the store. My dad and I got the wonderful opportunity to talk to one of the members of the Navajo Nation.  I have never talked to anyone before that was a real Indian.  Oh my word.  This was so amazing.  We asked her so many questions.  Questions like, "How does your government run", "Do you vote for the US President and Arizona's Governor",  "Do you pay taxes", "What is the main religion", "What is the main source of income"  and so many more questions.  She answered the best she could.  Then she showed us many articles made by her people.  They were very pricey but oh so beautiful.  Even though we couldn't go see the Four Corners, meeting her made our day.

Today we drove from New Mexico, through a small part of Arizona, into Utah.

We arrived in Bluff Utah safely!!  Our campground is small but wonderful.  My parents got a site right next to us again!!  This is so fun!! As we arrived, we had a lot of house keeping things to do.  We washed the trailer and the truck, we cleaned the black tanks really well, we cleaned the trailer and we also washed Papa's truck for him.  I filled up our propane and Grandma made dinner for the kids.  My parents came in to help me get school done with the kids for the day.  We did everything that needed to be done, but the laundry.  We will have to go to a laundry mat or wait until our next campground to do it.  We had a busy day so no exploring today.
