Saturday March 27, 2021 - Back In the Hood!!!!

Today was so great.  We are back in our hood!!!  So what do you do when you've gone for 10 months???  We went to play with all our friends!!!!

Scotty rode Gibralter today with all his buddies in Santa Barbara. Rode riding in California is world class.  We have the most scenic passes to climb with the best views of the ocean.  I know Scotty has missed riding here.  

I ran down to the beach!!!  Oh yea baby!!!   I have always loved this run.  I ran down Sycamore Canyon and down to Sycamore Beach.  Bob and Eddie drove my car down to the beach and then rode their bikes up Sycamore Canyon to go home.  I ran down and picked up the car and then drove home from the beach.  It all worked out!!!

On the trail, I ran across Merleene!!  She has been one of our faithful followers of our trip.  We love you Merleene and thank you for sharing our adventure with us and for being so dang cool!!

After may run, I took Pepper over to her BFF's house, Casandra.  Oh man, they were so excited to see each other.  Pepper spent the whole day there with her.   They were so happy so see each other.  

Then, I dropped Taj off to play with his buddy Declan. They got to play and swim!!!  Thank you Maggie for taking Taj on your birthday. 

I love Maggie.  We are kindred spirits.  :))

Then, I went to go get my hair done.  Finally!!!  It's been 10 months.  I got a color and a cut!!  Oh man,  I felt so pampered.   

While I was gone, Graham was so excited to go surfing with his buddy Jacob and his family.  Lucky!!!!  Look how cool these kids are.  I just love them.  Thank you Perry family for taking Graham surfing!!

Asher literally hit the skate parks all day today.  He is in heaven being home with his friends and his local parks.  We didn't see him all day again.  

In the evening, Scotty and I got to go out on a triple date with our friends the Spicers and the Batemans.  Oh man!!!  It was so great to be back with them all.  We ate dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and seriously sat and talked all night there.  Good friends and good relationships and invaluable.  What a fun day!!!  We felt so spoiled by all the love from all our friends.  We have sure missed everyone.
