Today we spent the day not in Palm Springs, not in Joshua Tree National Park but in our campground. Yup. I know, it's sad. We had beautiful, fun thing to do around us and we did nothing but clean, pack for Hawaii and rest. It's all good, Palm Springs is close to our house so we can come here easily another time.
We fly out to Hawaii next Thursday. Here are all our suitcases packed up. What a chore this was. I had to get all the kids packed up, then pack the trailer up (not the whole thing, just a few items), and then I had to pack all my clothes.
Magnets!!! Look at all our wonderful memories!!!!! We love looking at these. They remind us of all the amazing adventures we've been on.
This campground is perfect for a huge trailer. Our spot is ginormous. We will definitely be back here and we will actually go to the National Park. Heehehheee. I needed a day to get all our stuff done - a maintenance day.
Scotty was so sweet and took the kids to a local skatepark even though he was tired. Apparently this park was the bomb. It got high ratings from the kids. Scotty said the area was extremely sketchy but the park was great.
Tomorrow is a travel day. I felt a bit of stress today trying to get everything ready to head to Hawaii. By the end of the night, I had everything ready and felt very happy about that.
