Guess who drove up from Mesa to come play with us!!!! Pati!!! Patricia was one of my companions from my mission in Chile. I love her. She is family.

Yesterday we didn't explore everything in the Petrified Forest so today we went back for more. This time we took Pati!!
I made sure the kids understood how petrified wood was formed. It's all apart of the education!!

We decided to take dinner to one of the families from the ward here. Their son bore his testimony in church on Sunday and we wanted to do something for them. It was a very small and simple service but it made the whole family feel happy.
For dinner, we got the kids fast food and left them at the trailer with a movie. The adults got a moment out as we went for dinner at a local diner. We had a great time laughing and talking. The food was actually really good.
